Tachometer — check on the car

A) connect a test tachometer and start the engine.

b) compare the readings of the test and onboard tachometers.

If the reading error is greater than the permissible value, replace the tachometer.

Instrument cluster and indicators (models with tachometer)

Attention: reversing the polarity of the tachometer connection will lead to failure of the transistors and diodes of the tachometer. Do not drop the tachometer. And do not hit the tachometer.
