2. Drain the fuel from the fuel filter.
A) Attach the vinyl hose to the drain cock, insert the other end of the vinyl hose into a container.
b) Unscrew the drain plug, drain the fuel.
3. Replace the fuel filter.
A. Remove the fuel filter.
B. Use pliers to unscrew the water sensor.
Attention: do not damage the sensor!
B. Move the sensor to a new fuel filter:
A) Lubricate the O-ring with fuel.
b) Screw on the sensor by hand.
D. Install the fuel filter.
A) Check and clean the mating surface of the fuel filter.
b) Lubricate the filter gasket with fuel.
V) Screw in the fuel filter until it touches the bracket and tighten with a wrench three quarters of a turn.
4. Bleed the fuel filter. Pump up fuel with a hand pump until you feel resistance.
5. Connect the water sensor connector.
6. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
