Attention: when working in the interior of a car equipped with an airbag system and belt pretensioners (SRS system), be especially careful not to damage the SRS control unit. To prevent accidental deployment of the airbags or pretensioners, before starting work, set the wheels to the straight ahead position and the ignition switch to the "LOCK", disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 90 seconds (backup discharge time). Do not attempt to disassemble the airbag assembly or belt pretensioner assembly as there are no parts that require maintenance in these units. If the airbags and/or seat belt pretensioners have deployed (unfolded), they cannot be repaired or reused.
1. The set usually includes two keys: one main and one additional. There are kits with remote control of the central lock on the main key and kits with remote control of the central lock on a separate key fob.
Set with remote control of the central lock on the master key.
Set with remote control of the central lock on a separate keychain.
2. To unlock/lock the front doors, insert the key into the door lock and turn it left/right.
The front doors can be closed without a key. To do this, set the door lock button to the lock position, pull the door opening handle towards you and, holding the handle, close the door.
For rear doors, set the door lock button to the locked position and close the door.
3. On models with central locking, unlocking/locking with the key from the outside of the driver's door will automatically unlock/lock all doors.
4. Some modifications are equipped with a remote control system for door locks. Unlocking and locking the doors are carried out by a single press of the corresponding button on the key.
