Vehicle check
1. Check hub runout.
- Maximum runout - 0.8 mm
2. Measure the axial clearance of the bearing.
- Maximum clearance - 0.2 mm
Removing
1. Jack up the car.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the brake drum.
4. Using the special tool and a press, remove the outer bearing.
Rear axle hub.
1 - bearing,
2 - bearing sleeve,
3 - brake drum assembly with hub,
4 - washer,
5 - nut,
6 - cotter pin,
7 - cover.
5. Using the special tool and a press, remove the inner bearing.
Installation
1. Apply grease to the places indicated in the figure.
2. Press in new inner bearing.
3. Install the bearing bush as shown.
4. Using the special tool and a press, install the new outer bearing.
5. Install the nut and lock it.
