Engine assembly procedure

The following assembly order for the engines in question is recommended:

• camshaft bearings (pressed in a car service);
• piston rings;
• crankshaft and main bearings;
• pistons with connecting rods;
• oil pump;
• camshafts and tappets (2F and 3F-E engines);
• pallet;
• chain and sprockets (1FZ-FE engine);
• cylinder head, rods and rocker arms;
• collectors;
• cylinder head cover;
• rear reinforcement plate;
• flywheel (driving disk).
