Gasoline vapor recovery system

The gasoline vapor recovery system is designed to absorb gasoline vapors from the tank and the fuel system in a tank with activated carbon and subsequent combustion of vapors in the engine cylinders.

Examination

1. The most common symptom of a system malfunction is a strong smell of gasoline in the engine compartment. If you smell gasoline, inspect the activated charcoal tank located at the front of the engine compartment.



2. Check the condition of the absorber tank and check for cracks or other damage on the hoses.
