Antenna — removal and installation

1. Remove the receiver and disconnect the plug. Attach the wire to the antenna (cord) and disconnect all latches and brackets along the antenna route.

2. On vehicles with a fixed antenna, unscrew the antenna mast nut.

3. Use pliers to loosen the antenna base nut.

4. On vehicles with an electrically driven antenna, remove the screws securing the motor to the mudguard.

5. Pull out the antenna so that the cord is exposed. Attach the cord to the new antenna cable and pull the cable into the passenger compartment.

6. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order.
