The power windows operate only when the switch is in the «On» (On). However, if both front doors are closed, they will operate for 45 seconds even after the ignition is turned off. They will stop working after one of the front doors is opened.
Driver window adjustment
1. Use the switch on the driver's door (refer to accompanying illustration).
2. In normal mode, the window glass moves by holding the switch in the appropriate position: to open the window, lightly press the switch, and to close, slightly pull the switch up.
3. In automatic mode, fully press the switch or pull it up and release it to fully open or close the window. To stop the window halfway, pull the switch slightly in the opposite direction and then release.
4. If something falls between the window and the frame during automatic mode, the anti-pinch function is activated: the glass stops halfway.
5. In the event of impact on the window, this function may work even if nothing enters the window opening.
Passenger window adjustment
1. Use the switch on the appropriate door or the switches on the driver's door to open and close the passenger windows.
2. Push the switch down to open; to close, pull the switch up.
3. When you press the driver's door window lock button (refer to accompanying illustration), the passenger windows will not operate.
Warning! Before closing the power windows, make sure that the head, arms and other parts of the body of all passengers are inside the vehicle. Serious injury could result if someone's neck, head, or hands are caught in the opening while closing the windows.
