2. Install the rotor in the generator cover on the drive side.
3. Install the rectifier housing.
- V) (Models with manual transmission) Install the washer on the rectifier housing.
- b) Using a suitable socket and press, install the rectifier housing.
- V) Install the wiring clamp. Secure the housing with four nuts.
4. Install pulley.
- A) Install the pulley on the toe of the rotor shaft and hand-tighten the pulley nut.
- b) Holding a special tool (A) torque wrench, tighten the special tool (IN). Tightening torque 39 Nm.
- V) Check that the special tool (A) was securely fixed on the rotor shaft.
- G) Clamp special tool (WITH) in a vice.
- d) Insert special tool (IN) into a special device (WITH) and install the pulley nut in the special tool (WITH).
- e) To tighten the pulley mounting nut, turn the special tool (A) clockwise. Tightening torque 110 Nm.
- and) Remove generator from tool (WITH).
- h) Unscrew the special tool (IN) and remove special equipment (A) And (IN).
5. Install the rectifier unit.
- A) Install 4 insulators on the wire leads.
- V) Install the rectifier unit and tighten the 4 fixing screws.
6. Install the voltage regulator and brush holder.
- A) Install the brush holder cover on the brush holder.
- b) Install the voltage regulator and brush holder in a horizontal position on the body of the rectifier unit, as shown in the figure.
- V) Tighten the five screws securing the brush holder so that the gap between the brush holder and the regulator is approximately 1 mm.
- G) Adjust the position of the brush holder cover.
7. Install the generator cover on the rectifier side.
- A) Install the generator cover and tighten the three nuts and bolt (2S-T) its attachments.
- 6) Install the outlet by tightening its fastening nut.
- V) Install the terminal insulator and secure it with the nut.
8. Check that the rotor rotates smoothly without binding.
9. (2C, generator with vacuum pump) Install the vacuum pump by tightening the four screws securing it.
