General information
The instrument cluster of the new car has the following features:
- analog devices are used. High clarity of instrument readings is ensured by the use of bright, high-contrast LEDs that illuminate the arrows and scales;
- The instrument panel has a built-in instrument panel ECU and a buzzer. Communication between the instrument panel ECU and the rest of the ECU is via the BEAN bus (avionics data bus);
- stepper motors are used to drive the arrows of the speedometer, tachometer and fuel gauge;
- the instrument panel has an engine oil change indicator lamp that lights up constantly or flashes, reminding the driver to change the engine oil (only vehicles with 1CD-FTV engine);
- odometer and trip odometer readings are displayed on the liquid crystal display (LCD);
- a multi-information display is built into the instrument panel.
