To raise the front end, apply the parking brake and place bricks under the rear wheels for safety. On all models, place the roller jack under the middle of the front engine beam.
To raise the tailgate, put the car in gear and place bricks under the front wheels. When lifting a passenger car, place a roller jack under the side reinforcements, as shown in the upper part of Figure 4. When lifting a combi model, place the jack under the middle of the rear axle.
Install stands only in the specified areas of the body. When lifting first one side and then the other, you should pay special attention to the reliability of the stands.
Place the jack only on a solid support. The same applies to stands.
