Pic. 2.377. Places for applying sealant to the contact surface of the thermostat housing
Remove the remnants of the old gasket, flush the housing, clean the surfaces of the housing and block with a volatile solvent and do not allow oil to come into contact with the surface of the thermostat housing to the cylinder block. Apply sealant to the thermostat housing, as shown in Figure 2.377.
Install the thermostat housing, tighten the eight bolts and two fastening nuts with a tightening torque of 8 Nm.
Install the wiring clamps.
Install the knock sensors and connect their connectors.
