Cigarette lighter and ashtrays

To use the cigarette lighter, push it in. When it warms up, it will automatically pop out and be ready to use (pic. 1.78).

If the engine is not running, the key must be set to «ACC».

Do not hold down the cigarette lighter.

Use a genuine Toyota cigarette lighter or an equivalent cigarette lighter for replacement.

Attention! The cylindrical body of the cigarette lighter coil heats up to a high temperature. To avoid burns, do not touch the cylindrical body of the cigarette lighter coil with your fingers. Do not let children turn on the cigarette lighter and play with it.

Attention! Overheating the cigarette lighter can be a fire hazard. Therefore, when using the cigarette lighter, observe the following recommendations. Do not forcibly hold the cigarette lighter button in the recessed position during the heating process.

Attention! If the cigarette lighter button does not return to its original position after 30 seconds after switching on, remove the cigarette lighter from the cartridge to avoid overheating the coil.

Front ashtray - To use the ashtray, push down on the lid.


Rear ashtray - To use the ashtray, lift the lid.

When you finish smoking a cigarette, put it out carefully in an ashtray to prevent other cigarette butts from igniting. Close the ashtray completely after using it.

To remove the ashtray, open the lid and pull it out.

Attention! Cigarette butts and burning matches placed in an ashtray can ignite combustible debris and cause a fire in the vehicle. Do not use the ashtray to store combustible debris.
