Hood opening

To open the hood:

1. Pull the hood release lever. The hood should open slightly with a springy upward movement;

2. From the front of the vehicle, pull up the latch assist lever and raise the hood.



Before closing the engine hood, make sure you do not leave any tools, rags, etc. inside. Then lower the hood and make sure it is firmly in place. If necessary, gently press on the front edge to secure the hood (pic. 1.40).

Warning! Before driving, make sure the hood is closed and securely locked. Otherwise, the hood may open unexpectedly while driving and cause an accident.
