To control the sunroof, use the switches that are located next to the personal lighting (pic. 1.39).
The sunroof works when the ignition switch is in the «ON».
The sun visor can be opened or closed manually.
Key-out operation: If both front doors are closed, the sunroof will operate for approximately 43 seconds, even after the ignition switch is turned off. When any door is opened, it turns off.
Shift operation
To open: Press and hold the switch for 1 s from the side «SLIDE OPEN».
The sunroof will fully open automatically. To stop sunroof movement, briefly press the switch on the side «SLIDE OPEN» or «TILT UP».
The sun visor will be open along with the electric sunroof.
To close: press and hold the switch for 1s on the side «TILT UP».
The electric sunroof will close automatically. To stop sunroof movement, briefly press the switch on the side «SLIDE OPEN» or «TILT UP».
Reclining operation
To tilt up: press and hold the switch for 1 s on the side «TILT UP».
The electric sunroof will open fully up automatically. To stop the sunroof in the direction of travel, quickly press the switch on the side «SLIDE OPEN» or «TILT UP».
Anti-pinch function
If, when lowering the sunroof, as well as when closing after turning off the ignition switch, an obstacle appears between the sunroof and the frame, the sunroof will stop.
Note. If there is a strong impact on the sunroof, this function may work even if nothing is pinched.
If the battery is disconnected or discharged, the sunroof may not function automatically and the anti-pinch function will not work properly after you reconnect, replace or recharge the battery. In any of these cases, you should bring the sunroof to its normal position.
To bring the sunroof to the normal position, press and hold the sunroof switch on the side «TILT UP», until the sunroof is fully folded up and then automatically lowers slightly.
Warning! To avoid serious injury, observe the following rules.
- - While driving, always make sure that all passengers keep their heads, hands and other parts of the body away from the opening of the electric sunroof. Otherwise, they may be seriously injured if the vehicle suddenly stops or has an accident.
- - Before closing the electric sunroof, make sure that no one is dangerously close to the electric sunroof. Make sure that no one puts their head, hands, or other parts of the body into the opening of the electric sunroof. If someone's neck, head, or hands are caught in the closing electric sunroof, serious injury could result. When someone closes the sunroof, the first thing to do is to make sure it is safe.
