When parking, apply the parking brake firmly to prevent unintentional rolling.
To install, pull the lever up. For better holding power, first depress the brake pedal and hold it until the parking brake is applied.
To release - slightly pull the lever up, press the button with your thumb and lower the lever.
As a reminder that the parking brake is set, the parking brake warning light on the instrument panel remains on until you release the parking brake.
