2. Remove piston rings.
A) special tool (expander or screwdriver) remove both compression rings.
b) Manually remove the oil scraper elements (scrapers and ring expander).
Note: Arrange the rings in the correct order.
3. Disconnect the connecting rod from the piston.
A) Using a screwdriver, remove the circlips.
b) Gradually heat up the piston to a temperature of 80 - 90°C.
V) Using a plastic-tipped hammer and copper rod, knock out the piston pin and remove the connecting rod.
Note:
- If necessary, tag the piston and connecting rod to ensure correct assembly.
- Do not dismantle the piston and piston pin.
- Lay out the parts of the piston group as a set.
