Removing
1. Disconnect battery from ground (make sure radio codes are known).
2. Remove the air intake, disconnect the crankcase ventilation hoses from the cover.
3. Remove plugs of candles, disconnect wires.
4. Disconnect cables and take aside. Remove the engine hanger.
5. Loosen the cylinder head cover bolts (indicated by arrows), remove the cover and gasket. If the cover does not yield, knock it off with a hammer through the soft spacer, or carefully pry open the seal with a spatula.
Installation
1. Thoroughly clean the sealing surfaces of the cover and cylinder head, remove traces of oil. Install a new gasket in the cover groove (the gasket can not be changed if it has not hardened and is not damaged). Monitor the safety of the seals of the casings of the candles (indicated by arrows).
2. Apply sealant to the semi-circular plugs and install them on the cylinder head.
3. Carefully install the cover and tighten the bolts.
4. Tighten the cover bolts evenly to the specified torque.
5. Install other parts, start the engine and check for leaks.
