1. Place a pallet or a rag under the cylinder.
2. Disconnect the connector from the tank.
3. Loosen the tubing fitting on the master cylinder (it is recommended to release with a gas wrench). The cylinder is attached to the brake booster with two nuts (indicated by arrows). Disconnect and plug the pipes.
4. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the cylinder to the vacuum booster and remove the cylinder.
5. Drain the rest of the liquid from the tank.
6. When installing, fill the cylinder with liquid - this measure significantly reduces the time for pumping the brakes. Clamp the cylinder in a vise by the flange, fill the reservoir with liquid and press the piston with a large Phillips screwdriver. When releasing the piston, pinch the fitting holes with your fingers. After pressing the piston several times, close the holes with plugs.
7. Install the cylinder in reverse order. Bleed the air from the hydraulic drive.
